Cherry Turnovers made with Puff Pastry. Super easy, homemade tarts. Just take one box of puff pastry, and one can cherry pie filling. Roll the pastry dough out, and cut it into squares, then fill, and fold and seal with a fork, glaze the dough with and egg white and bake! Another option is pinwheels, which you can cut the square pastry dough at the corners, and fold. I like to top with a butter glaze, made with powder sugar on the stove top.
